The rollercoaster I didn’t see coming
Unforgettable experiences with stunning grounds and informative tours left me enchanted. The thermal pools were a delightful way to unwind, and exceptional service was the icing on the cake.
Unpleasant surprises include inconsistent service during dinner, leading to agonizing wait times. Also, there were issues with cleanliness that detracted from the overall stay.

Breathtaking, Breathtaking, Breathtaking
The views from my room were absolutely breathtaking, overlooking a stunning canyon and river. I loved soaking in the private thermal bath right on my terrace, surrounded by the starry sky. The food? Delicious! Those pisco cocktails by the hot springs made my heart sing with joy!
Totally recommend ❤️😍

Stunning views and relaxing hot springs
I had an amazing stay in a Suite River View. The hot springs were incredible, offering stunning views, and the charming alpaca farm added a unique touch to our experience. The staff were attentive, ensuring a comfortable stay, and the on-site restaurant provided delicious meals, with a special mention for the local dishes we enjoyed. However, it would be nice if the check-in staff could be a bit friendlier.

a relaxing escape but minor amenities needed
The hot springs were a delightful end to each day. I appreciated the rich information about condors available on-site. The gardens provided a serene space for morning walks, offering beautiful river views that enhanced our stay.
The lack of complimentary water bottles in the room.

The panoramic suite offered breathtaking views and direct access to a thermal bath, perfect for romantic nights. The dining experience was exceptional, with a focus on traditional dishes, including delicious desserts that showcased local flavors. The alpaca farm added a unique charm, enhancing the serene atmosphere throughout the lodge. However, note that the duplex had only a wood fireplace for heating, which may be insufficient for some, and the small exhibition centers felt a bit limited. Still, the stunning scenery and friendly staff made for a memorable stay.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Suite River View, especially the relaxing thermal bath right in our room and the breathtaking canyon views. The hot springs and the cozy garden area were perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. While the food didn't meet our high expectations, it didn't take away from our fantastic experience overall. 🌄

Colca Lodge is set in an incredible location with beautiful scenery surrounding it. The room had an interesting duplex style, being spacious and comfortable, although it wasn't exactly the same as the photos online. The hot springs were relaxing and enjoyable, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. I loved the little alpaca farm on the property—it added a fun touch. The dining options were generally good, but I noticed that breakfast can be quite basic compared to other hotels I've visited. The staff were friendly and ensured a pleasant experience, but I faced a minor annoyance at check-out when my bags took longer than expected to reach the parking lot. I had to ask multiple times, which was frustrating. Overall, it’s a charming spot with a few hiccups, but the beautiful surroundings and hot springs make it worth a visit.

Stunning views of the surrounding mountains and river from the Suite with River View. The hot springs were such a treat, especially relaxing in the private hot tub. The room had a cozy fireplace, two bathrooms, and a kitchen area with a microwave and minibar. Also loved the cute alpaca farm on site. Great dining options too.
